If you are unhappy in your work, slowly, calmly, over the week, step back from desperation, seek the counsel of someone who has both wisdom about work and kindness toward you.
Look closely at your work and your heart as you do it. See whether it fits you, and whether you fit to it. Take a deep breath, study your Motivated Abilities, and know you can change, accept, or move on.
But also remember how many millions have trudged behind mules, toiled obscurely in thankless tasks, and yet smiled and somehow knew contentment.
