Worry is the big killer. Call it anxiety, call it stress, or, if you want a bold experiment, name it “depression”.
Whatever my over-simplifications may be, it's destructive and fruitless. With practice (and a painful divorce from our culture), it may be largely avoidable.
Sure, it’s okay to prepare for the future, but you don’t have to be afraid. Just notice the fear‑based thoughts, and let them ascend into your vast helplessness. It’s okay.
