Try doing something regularly for yourself. Count your breaths maybe, or read a sacred text every morning, or walk. Anything that settles you down deep inside, do it regularly this week. (Especially when you don't feel like it.) Then, at the end of the week, see if it's worth doing for another week. Your experience (not your partner or the scales or your boss) is the Boss. The main point is to do it for you, not some "Should-er". And for a week, don't tell anyone how disciplined you're being. No one.
